STARTUP: ALBUQUERQUE AND THE PERSONAL COMPUTER REVOLUTION

STARTUP, a first-of-its-kind gallery at Albuquerque's New Mexico Museum of National History and Science, is dedicated to the microcomputer—the little machine that revolutionized the way we live, work and play. The gallery features rare artifacts, video and interactive displays, including "Rise of the Machines," an immersive multimedia theatre experience.

Born from the desire of Paul G. Allen to give back to the Albuquerque community where he and Bill Gates spent their early professional years starting Microsoft, the STARTUP Gallery brings to life the excitement that characterized the early days of the personal computer revolution.
